SAYAF

Sayaf was married for 12 years to a girl of Italian descent and lived in Orange County (California) where their first child was born.
After they divorced, he returned to Amman to settle some family matters and from there he never left again. Today he can only talk to his son through his brother who has been living in the United States.
Once Sayaf used to drink beer and swim in Venice Beach, now he is forced to live in Amman where there is no sea or public pools. He always says that young people drink a lot but then get back in line when they grow up. “You can drink when you are young but when you get older you have to stop.”
Sayaf has a veil of sadness in his eyes when he sighs: “Your land is your land”.
